FOUNDING MEMBERS
Andrés Galván is a Los Angeles–based interior designer, artist, and founder of L.A. V.I.D.A. organization whose work is deeply rooted in cultural pride, artistic expression, and refined design. A proud Mexican American, Andrés has long drawn inspiration from his heritage, weaving Latin culture, craftsmanship, and storytelling into every creative chapter of his life. From an early age, his passion for art and design was shaped through theater and set design, and later strengthened through his active involvement in cultural leadership most notably as a dedicated student member of M.E.Ch.A. in high school and a committed volunteer within his college’s Multicultural Center, where he helped support and celebrate cultural events and community initiatives.
During his senior year of college, Andrés began creating Mexican folk art, selling his work at festivals throughout Southern California, including Día de los Muertos and Cinco de Mayo celebrations. With a minor in Mesoamerican Culture, his artistic practice became both a personal and professional expression of identity, leading him to open his first business showcasing and selling his folk art through live events and an online platform. This foundation of cultural artistry later evolved into a distinguished career in high-end interior design, where Andrés has worked on global, multi-million-dollar projects for entrepreneurs, Fortune 500 executives, and notable clients. After holding lead roles at some of the most prestigious design firms, including serving as partner at Brodin Design Build and contributing to landmark projects such as the renovation of The Spelling Manor, Andrés founded his interior design company, VON GAL VON CREATIVE. Today, his work is defined by a rare balance of cultural authenticity, luxury sensibility, and intuitive collaboration, creating spaces that are deeply personal, timeless, and inspired by the stories of those who inhabit them. Aside from his design projects, he has recently partnered with a high-end sculpture gallery in L.A. and serves as the gallery director.
